Kip Decker I have been painting for over 40 years. On Boundless I essentially have two collections.
Most of my current paintings are abstract. I am trying to make them lusciously textural and elegant. Many are metallic in some parts. And my second grouping is of high quality canvas giclees of many of my previous figurative works.

Finest materials are used. Paintings are seal coated several times for protection with a sealer to provide a satin sheen.

My works will enhance any wall and living or work space.

My early years were spent growing up on the Monterey Peninsula and in Carmel Valley and through my college years at U.C. Santa Barbara until now. I obtained an MFA degree from UCSB in 1969 after some active duty in the US Coast Guard. I then taught art and design at San Jose City College and Evergreen Valley College until my move to Idaho in 1981, and then most recently moved to Georgia in 2006.

My medium of choice is acrylic paint on canvas - particularly for the staining and glazing possibilities. Many liberties are taken in choosing colors, values, textures, and sizes in creating my paintings.
